Park Electric Coop is planning an outage for the Chico Substation so we can change out the substation transformer and regulators.  This is needed due to the increased electrical loads and development in the area.  The outage will be on April 13^th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm to change out the transformer.  The areas that will be part of this outage are Emigrant, North Glastonbury, South Glastonbury, Big Creek, 6 Mile Creek, Mill Creek, Pray, Chico, Sage Lodge, East River Road from Mill Creek South to the area across from the Big Creek Rest Area, Chicory, Arrowhead School Area, Paradise Ranch Road, and Windy Hills Road area.  We are sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we get this transformer changed out. Not doing so would put us at extreme risk of our substation becoming overloaded causing a prolonged unplanned outage.
