MECA Memorial Scholarship

Each year MECA (Montana Electric Cooperatives' Association) distributes four $500 college scholarships. Winners are selected by a five-person selection committee comprised of co-op member services staff. To apply for the MECA scholarship, download the MECA Scholarship Application. Basin Electric/Park Electric Scholarship (BEPE)

The BEPE Scholarship Program will award one $1,000 scholarship to a Park Electric dependent of a consumer member. The scholarship must be used for educational costs, and the student must enter college in the fall of 2020. Checks will be made payable to the school. To apply for the BEPE scholarship, download the BEPE Scholarship Application. Then fill out and follow the instructions on the application. Good Luck!

Who is eligible to receive the scholarship?

Dependent children of Park Electric consumers are eligible. The applicant must also be a U.S. citizen. The applicant must be a student who is enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time graduate or undergraduate course of study at an accredited, two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school. BEPE scholarships will be awarded without regard to other awards, loans, or financial assistance the applicant may have obtained.

How to apply?

To apply, you must complete the required criteria and the scholarship application, which can be obtained from Park Electric Cooperative or local high schools. The applicant is responsible for submitting all necessary information to apply for a scholarship.


Park Electric Luck of the Draw

Each year at our Annual Meeting in late October, Park Electric gives away 10 $1000 scholarships to children of members. These scholarships are intended for children of members or members who are enrolled in an accredited institution for an undergraduate or graduate degree program. The child or parent must be in attendance to enter the drawing. Please see our Annual Meeting section for more information.
